The sharp curves give a good glimpse at the power for this year's Santa Train. Leading is CSX 8423 (WM 7572), which to date, is the only former Western Maryland SD40-2 in YN3 livery

The northbound deadhead of the 2004 Santa Train is near Kermit Siding. In the background is the spectacular Clinch mountain we will soon pass through.
